Trattoria Ruzzenente has a centuries-old tradition of cuisine of Verona in the center of Pizzoletta. The structure was built in the mid-nineteenth century thanks to the skillful work of Angelo Ruzzenente.
After making a fortune in Argentina, he decided to use its economic resources and its ability in order to create a first family-run tavern. Since then, the restaurant has maintained this strong tradition, passing on the secrets of the best cuisine of Verona from father to son.
After Angelo, the management passed to his son Giovanni, and then, after his death, to his wife Rosa. The first official license dates back to 1929, but it was the Fifties the years of the real breakthrough. In 1959, in fact, the business was taken by the eldest son of Giovanni, Anselmo, who enlarged the restaurant and diversified its food choice. With Anselmo Ruzzenente, the menu expanded and arose the famous "dopolavoro" (after work).
Every Sunday with the "dopolavoro", they offered, behind the dining room, a ballroom with live music. It was thanks to the initiative of the daughter-in-law Alda, the wife of Dino Alberto, that the tavern became not only a well-known place of good food, but also a center of entertainment and leisure.
The family tradition continues today with the children of Dino Alberto, Andrea and Daniele, according to the most healthy principles of hospitality and quality of our typical and genuine cuisine.

Trattoria Ruzzenente is located in Pizzoletta, halfway between Verona and Mantua, a few kilometers far from both cities.
It is located near the most popular tourist destinations, as the Park Sigurtà, Borghetto di Valeggio sul Mincio, Gardaland and the Lake Garda itself.
In addition, its proximity to the Airport Catullo and the motorways (A4 Milan-Venice, exit Sommacampagna, and A22 Modena-Brenner, exit Nogarole Rocca) encourages travelers.
